Following on from my last thread about our first competition of the season I thought I would give an update on how we got on. It was a a fantastic day and I still feel like it was all a dream. Where I live grades in agility go from 1-7. We started the day of with 1-3 combined jumping where we pulled of an amazing second place with no faults and a time of 33 seconds. We then managed a 4th place with faults in 1-6 combined agility. The fault was in the weaves when Simba spotted the photographer crouching just past the weaves and went over to pose 
We where one of only a handful of dogs who made it around the course without an elimination. To top the whole day of we managed to pull of a 1st place in 1-3 agility with no faults and bringing us up to grade 2 
It was our 3rd show and our first time ever to compete in the agility rounds so you can imagine how shocked I was to win it!
We also placed 4th in obedience and where in the lead until Simba broke his down stay. We are getting there with the stays but they seem to be the toughest thing for Simba. He doesn't like to be apart from me for a whole minute
