Blueberry 6 months old!

I’m a few days late in posting but Blueberry turned 6 months old on Tuesday. She’s lost most of her puppy fur, a bit leggy and roughly 14” tall...she’s just a tad taller than Piper who is 13 3/4”. I don’t think she has too much growing left to do, no more than an inch. Of course she can jump on the bed (via the bench at the foot of it) but she’s still contained in her ex pen when I work...she hasn’t tried to get out.
Her twitches have pretty much stopped, I haven’t seen one in well over a month (if not longer).
The biting of Finnie’s fur is still going on but Finnie fights back now so she doesn’t have quite as much opportunity lol.
Blueberry is such a smart girl...she goes to the door when she wants out and upstairs she’ll bark at me. Of course she’s a digger and loves to dig in the mud..my little helper !

Blueberry is such a pretty lass who knows to enjoy the comforts life has to offer...or maybe it should read "the comforts your bed has to offer!" It seem like only a few weeks ago when she was a tiny pup. And what great news that the twitching has pretty much stopped. Happy 1/2 birthday Blueberry.

Fabulous news about the twitches! What a scare that was. She looks like such a Princess lounging on the bed, like it's her due. I think Meadow was pretty much done growing taller by 6 months, I haven't had a totally accurate way to measure though, like a wicket. I'm so glad she's joined your family, she seems like a great addition, especially the garden help!

She is really a cutie, and that is terrific that she's stopped twitching! She is growing into a lovely girl who appreciates her surroundings! And a lucky one that she gets to spend her life with such a great mom!

Yes...although I’m quite certain if I left her for any length of time she’d find something to chew on lol! She’ll chew whatever is handy whether it’s a nylon, toilet paper roll or a hand lotion tube! This morning I was watching her from the mirror and she was checking out my night table. She didn’t realize I could see her!

Got a weight on Blueberry today...17.6 pounds. She’s just a wee bit overweight, you can feel a bit of fat at her withers. I haven’t been cutting back on her food to take into account her treats...plus as she slows down in her growth now she’s gaining a bit too much. Don’t think she’s got much growing left. She’s a typical Sheltie...loves her food!!!
