Brand new sheltie owner

We ended up with getting a sheltie on the last day of 2018 and I have been educating myself since then. So far so good, as he is a happy, active, albeit somewhat knuckle-headed, little puppy. He's stolen our hearts and we've already seen a change in mood of our older dog. Looking forward to many years of happiness with our new pup.

Congrats on your new puppy. I have had many in my life time and am looking forward of getting one late Spring or early Summer.

So my wife finally got around to putting away the tree when a fight broke out over a bag. Of course, the cat has no fear whatsoever of Russell and can probably take on both dogs at once.

Note: no animals were harmed in the making of this video.

Thanks for sharing! Russell has no fear either! Liam would run in the other room and be totally scared of the big scary black thing on the floor!

You're right about that. Russell is positively fearless. Nothing fazes him. If we can get through the puppy stage without Darla and Dakota conspiring to kill him for annoying the heck out of them I think we'll be good.

I really enjoyed watching this! Russell is a brave boy, for sure. I loved the kitty too, unfazed - "bring it on!". Our first kitty was so great with our first, second and third Shelties. She lived to be 19, and took no guff. My present kitty Mario is a big scaredy cat, but he loves all the dogs and will rub up on them. Thanks for the entertainment! Fun times at your house.
