It was more than likely a bee sting. They're plentiful in our yard and Luka especially has a love for trying to catch them.
We're going the no-meds route as by the next day, it wasn't even red and the swelling had gone down tremendously. So, we're soaking it (as per the vet's instructions) and Luka hasn't tried to even nip at it again. He showed no other symptoms besides the skin reaction.
So glad he's not like me, lol. I go into shock with any kind of venom.
