Butler Door

Willow opens doors but only if she is invited. If we tell her it's okay to come in, then she just noses it open and walks in. If we don't tell her it's okay, she just lays down and waits.

I'm sure you must have tried the simple approach with a super treat. You show him the treat, walk through the doors, sit down and call him.

I should have asked have you tried opening the doors wide enough for him to walk through, then reward him. Once he can do that comfortably, then have the doors open far enough that he will be able to see you on the other side but narrow enough that the doors touch him lightly. Once he can do that, try closing them a bit more and treat him when he comes. If he balks at any point then open it up again. Repeat until he gets it. You could probably tape some string on the bottom of your doors so you can manipulate the size of the gap.
 
I will continue working on this one it just baffles me he opens it easily but the other way not at all. But last night while practicing we ended up on opposite sides and we pushed at the same time and the look on his face was priceless that he couldn't get through.I think we're making progress but it's slow
