Denise, I'm just getting back from an extended weekend vacation and just saw the information about Callie. I'm so sorry for your loss.:hugs

Touching photos of your sweet Callie. She was beautiful and had that soft, lovely expression. I can tell you cherished her dearly. I'm very sorry of your loss of her.

Oh, that last picture just shows her sweet little soul. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm a little on the emotional side recently, but this has me torn up. My breaking for you. Keep her in your heart. She will always be with you!

I just knew I shouldn't have looked. Not while I was at work. But I did. And here I am, at my desk, crying. Trying not to though. I love the photo of her close-up. She looks so at peace.

It reminds me of when Miko is sleeping. And it's then that I'm always checking to make sure he's still breathing. sigh. What these dogs do to our hearts, I'll never know. But I personally think they steal them.

Sending you more :hugs

Thank you for sharing those Denise. I just cannot imagine the pain & heartache. Last night Brian & I had gone to dinner, and we were talking about the gathering. He brought up Callie. I started crying all over again.

I know I took some time while you were here, and held her in my arms, and told her just how beautiful she was,and how much we loved her. I am sure I have some pictures in the collections that folks took of Callie, and I will send them to you.

She will be missed by so many,I know we miss her,and we thank you for bringing Callie this year.
((Hugs))

I am glad that you got to spend some time with her this year.
If you do have any pix, I would love them- seems I only took the one of her on the couch.

yep- don't look when you are at work.
Callie had been sleeping pretty deeply this last year and wouldn't always get up when the pups thundered past her. I was always looking to see if she was still breathing- and she was.
