Yesterday was the one year anniversary of our beloved Katie's passing. I can't believe it's been a year already.
We miss her every day....I hope she is happy and healthy at the bridge, playing with our very special little man Laddie, and the other shelties until we are together again.
We miss you sweet Diva Katie!!

Sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is; yesterday was the one year anniversary of our Miss Maddie taking her journey to the Rainbow Bridge.

Anniversaries of the loss of a little beloved one are hard emotionally. My thoughts go out to you.

I'm so sorry about your loss of Katie...I too lost a little Katie a few years back. Honoring her memory is a great thing to do for her.

Thank you all. Yes, for some reason, that was a very strange weekend. There were several shelties joining Katie at the bridge. I hope they all made friends and are happily playing with each other. She was my first rescue sheltie and a very special little Diva at that.

I am so sorry, it is always hardest on those of us left behind to deal with the grief. But you can rest easy knowing that your baby is well cared for and never alone and will be with you again.

We had a very special girl that we rescued. Or rather she rescued us. In 2001 we had to "put her down". There is a mature tree in our back yard where Daisy used to walk out to and lay under. To this day (it is now 14 years later) we still call it "Daisy's Tree").
We will always remember individual dogs but there are some special dogs and some memories that are deep and lasting and good. I believe Katie's doing fine at the bridge.

Sorry for your loss, I know how you feel. One year next month for us, and we all still miss Cody so very much.
