I’m so sorry to hear about Checkers! She’s such a strong girl to have survived so much! Thank the lord you caught his early! I’ll keep you and Checkers in my thoughts and prayers that all goes well on August 19th.

I was terrified that Gavin would need anesthesia at 15 for his tumor, but the vet did just local. Actually, they decided to not even sedate him and just do a local, cause he's such a chill old man 
But even if he did go under, I know he would have been fine. Shelties are strong old dogs!

I just got a call that there's been a cancellation and Checkers' surgery has been moved up to this Wednesday. This is a huge relief since the lump seems to be getting slightly bigger, and gives me less time to worry about it. So please ramp up the prayers and positive thoughts for my girl!
