My daughter got picture and video happy yesterday at class. So I figured I would post a video. Please forgive me for the shakiness.

Awe thanks! I think she has become very pretty too. And I think she is enjoying class as well. She was wagging her tail the entire time.That's great! Cleo looks like she's really enjoying it. She's grown into a really gorgeous girl, I just love her colouring and markings.

I'm so glad you finally had agility class! Uncertainty in a new location isn't surprising and you did a great job helping her work through it. The more she's exposed to agility at different places the less it should phase her. (My own experience, yours may be different.)
She really looked like she was having a good time, which is great! It will be fun to watch her skill and confidence grow.

Thanks! Me too, however, I am worried about the teeter. At the last class we didn't do it, but as the next class started, I was talking to one of the trainers and a dog went on the teeter and scared her pretty bad. It is a metal one and make a bang and vibration noise. This is definitely something I wish I could do at home so I could work with her more on the sound and movement issue. I do have a mini wobble/teter board I use with her and she is fine, on the carpet. Put it on the kitchen floor and she hides.

The best advice I can tell you with the teeter is take it slow! If the instructor starts you out with the teeter at full height be very cautious. Make sure someone holds onto the teeter and lowers it to the ground. It's the only obstacle with movement and it's very easy to scare a dog if you move to fast. Ultimately they need to understand they control the motion of the board.
We always start with the teeter braced on tables, so it's like a flat board. We gradually lower the up side (the side that is normally on the ground) to the floor, allowing the down side (the side up in the air when on one is on it) to come down on the table. Once the up side is on the floor we begin to slowly lower the down side to the floor.
Even once it's trained to full height, regardless of the process used, you still need to be careful with a green dog. A few weeks ago Keiran confused the teeter with the dog walk ramp and ended up playing Superdog off the end (meaning a massive fly-off). I'm in the process of rebuilding his confidence on it. It's slow going but once he gets it I'm confident he'll be much more comfortable on the obstacle than he was before.

I took out the little teeter board this weekend and brought it outside with the agility equipment I have at home. I placed it on my concrete walkway. Well when she went on it, it banged when she went over it and she panicked she ran to my eight foot tunnel and hid in it. It took her almost a half an hour to get her back to normal. So I stuck it in the grass and then she was fine... any suggestions on getting her over this bang problem? I know that she will need to get over it or we will have problems with the teeter in class. I think she would do fine with the movement, it is the loud bang that will get her and then she will shut down.
