Conjunctivitis question

Hi, my six year old boy Jack was diagnosed with conjunctivitis in his left eye. It is looking better after two days on drops, but does anyone know if this condition leads to sensitivity in his nose/head as well? He has been making this strange shrieking sound if I touch his muzzle, and once when he went to pick up a tossed ball. I am very worried, vet apt tomorrow, but has anyone had any experience like this? Thank you.

Did your vet examine his mouth ? Maybe he has an infected tooth. Sometimes eyes are weepy from this. Will he let you look in his mouth at all ? Any drooling or odor ?

Yes, thank you for your concern. The vet feels that he has TMJ in his jaw, just like a human might. Coincidentally, I have this condition too, and so does my daughter. Jack has been prescribed a steroid liquid, which has helped a lot. His eye looks a lot better too, there were drops for it. I appreciate that you replied to me. It is so hard when your dog is sick, if only you could just ask them how they are feeling!

My dog has slight TMJ as well. If you're open to the idea, you may want to look into a vet chiropractor. I thought it was a bit weird, but we take Lexi to be adjusted (TMJ included) once a month. She seems much more balanced after seeing the chiropractor.
