Cranberry in AL

Sounds like it is time to buy some sheep. I love the way he is maturing. Didn't think I'd say this when he was younger be he is starting to look a little like his dad. I love the long tail... he gets that from mom though.

This is a picture of dad at seven months http://picasaweb.google.com/ashleyc053/20090109Macy#5488314378577796338

And mom... http://picasaweb.google.com/ashleyc053/Macy#5488313970905781634

So you see he get's his coat amount from mom. Player is not bless with a lot of coat... and still doesn't have as much as I would like for him too. Specially right not everyone blew a little when the weather warmed up so. The puppy that I kept out of the litter has mom's coat and texture too and I can tell just from the pictures that Cranman has that same texture as well.

he does look a little like his Daddy - I had to open both pix to see it. and I love the tail too- it's just great- so full and swishy :smile2:

so, yesterday the shelties went to Petsmart - Cranberry's first professional grooming ever and Callie's first time there. One of the groomer's there has shelties so I felt pretty good about taking them there and not getting shocked when I picked them up. She said they were both good and of course, we got treats and toys and stuff there. I took Happy when we picked them up and then we stopped on the way home (at our practice field) for Cranberry to run around and so we could take some post-bath pix. I thought they looked pretty good :smile2:

of course, no one wanted to cooperate with posing- thought some pix on the table would be cute. Cran would jump up but not stay there long enough for pix- Callie wouldn't even jump up. I would put her on it and then she'd jump off before I could get the camera pointed at her. Happy was too busy sniffing the perimeter though we did get a couple pix with him. anyway, we're going to PA next week for vacation- not sure how often we'll be able to get online

Fun pictures! Cran looks like he is having a good time dodging off the table before you can snap a picture. They both look very fluffy and clean. :biggrin2:

Happy looks like he's feeling better.

Wow they look great. I need to get Sca in one day but right now we are at war. He thinks he can shed enough to make a Newton and I keep telling him that is not how it works. He threatened to chew up a random item because I threw out his last 4 piles of hair

Newton here.
Sca, I've already had this discussion with Fergus and Baxter, but hey man if you don't know where puppies come from its important to be informed.

Sheltie puppies do not form from piles of blown out hair. If that were true, we'd have 5 million of the little scampers here with the way we've been shedding.

Here is the ABSOLUTE TRUTH about where I've SEEN with my OWN EYES about puppies:

Well, as best I can tell Emma or Sasha makes a deal with mom and dad and they bring in a big transmogrifier box and put it in mom's bedroom. Emma or Sasha gets in there and stirs around for HOURS, and then POOF there are wet hamsters... in the box. Then they won't let you into the bedroom to get a good look at the box. Mom and Dad then spend a lot of time stirring in the box and flashing it with a little black plastic box and then two weeks later POOF they bring out little bouncing furballs with no teeth and they call them "puppies" but they look like guinea pigs gone wrong now. Then they put the Xpen in the living room and put the guinea pigs in there and they start feeding them baby cereal and mushy kibble and it makes them MORPH OUT and grow noses and then sure enough...they look like little sheltie puppies guys and girls.

Then its fun to play with them.
The wet hamsters and the guinea pigs gone wrong just aren't worth the attention IMO.

They look gorgeous! Callie has such a beautiful coat and you know I'm in love with Cranberry's face.

yeah - me too. he's such a handsome boy :smile2:
we've been having random barking so I didn't let him watch Bailey's video- he doesn't need to get any ideas about doing stuff. he dragged all the beds all over when he was smaller- he hasn't been doing that recently.
he was down the hall and I thought he was barking at Happy trying to get him to play- turns out he was in the hall bathroom. not sure what that was about or what he was barking at in there. I told him he just had a bath and didn't really need another one

yeah- if that's how it works, then we'd have some sable pups around here :wink2:
