Daisy very sick

Hugs :hugs

I also doubt that the chicken bothered her (might have caused some softening of the poo, but not that bad). Hoping she just a nasty bug and will get better quickly with all the care from the vet over the night.

That is what I was going to ask you next - is she eating any Diamond foods. Your Daisy has the symptoms associated with the Salmonella in the Diamond foods. I may have missed it but did you let your vet know she is eating a Diamond product? I don't trust their foods now no matter where they are made. Sending more prayers and hugs.:hugs

We did discuss the recall of Diamond foods, actually. Thanks for the hugs...I sure need them. I cannot stop crying.

I just talked to the vet....he wants to keep her overnight...they are using a syringe to feed her liquids now....I was sleeping so I didn't ask many questions. But I trust them.....I woke up again (15 minute snoozes) and I panicked because I couldn't find her...I went in the hall and asked the neighbors standing there if they had seen her, before I realized she wasn't here.....

Beth, I am so sorry for what Daisy is going through, and you too. We will be praying for you and Daisy tonight and tomorrow. It sounds like you have a great vet that you can really trust and is doing the best thing for her. Hopefully by tomorrow she'll be better and back home with you. Sending you hugs. :hugs

Continuous prayers going out for Daisy and for you.

I am so very sorry the two of you are having to go through all of this.

I hope Daisy is soon feeling better. Our 1st sheltie had similiar symptoms once and it was vert scary. Our vet said that she picked something up from the ferral cats in the neighborhood. Sure enough a few days later I was working in the flower beds and found cat poo, full of worms!!! I am sure that is what caused her to be sick. :hugs

Oh Beth, I am so sorry to hear that Daisy is so sick and so all of a sudden. Be good to yourself, don't let the worry take you to the negative side.

Keep us advised, take bunches of hugs from Harper Lee and I.

Love
Kate
