Deacon and Snow!

Oh my gosh. How do you handle this? Extremely cold where i live would be high 30s at night. I haven’t been wearing my coat lately. Yesterday was 72! I can’t imagine bundling up that much to take the dogs out. Can you tell I am cold blooded? And my wet hair! I would freeze!

Winter pups are harder when you have cold weather! And trust me, the last place I want to be is outside at 8 am! I get up, put on housecoat and pants and a winter parka and out we go. Fortunately it’s warmer than normal right now (-7 C) but this weekend will be -30! This is my first winter puppy and most likely my last:ROFLMAO:...much easier to do this in spring or summer!

This is my 2nd - I don't really mind it. Of course, I have some awesome Canadian boots to keep my tootsie's warm and if they are warm, the rest of me is good to go.

I say that, but then put puppy to bed early last night. It continued snowing into this morning. Every trip was out, eat falling flakes, in, then 'hey, I gotta pee again'..... Thankfully he slept through the night anyway.

Try that at -25 :ROFLMAO: when you’d rather be in bed....I question my sanity every morning :gaah:lol:!
Blueberry like to eat the snow too, and ice chunks. She’d love to run and play with the boys but I don’t allow that yet...I wouldn’t be able to catch her!

Blueberry is a clone on loving snow like my Faelee who was a January pup at 10 weeks old when we got her and she loved the snow and the cold...the more snow and the colder the better as far as Faelee was concerned. Your pretty Blueberry looks like she already has a thick coat that will keep her warm in all except the worst weather.
Faelee at 10 weeks old with her mentor and puppy sitter, our big smoothie, Kinnon...both loving the snow. Trini

Awww Trini that is such a sweet photo. Isn't it funny how these dogs just love snow? I'm hoping maybe next winter we can make a trip to the snow with all 3 dogs - Faith loves it but Elijah and Meadow have never experienced it.
