Diarrhea!!! Ughhhhh

Yup the unfun part of dog ownership is the ol pile of liquid poo. We have mostly rugs so it is a double mess- I usually scoop it up in a dust pan best I can then I use my Hoover spot vac to wash and suck up the remains-- it does a great job but taint fun and on top of that is how the dog is feeling. Good luck to you both.
I just changed the area rug in my living room, which has seen two dogs and a year of a third. Over the course of 20 years it's seen any number of accidents, but with the proper tools, you could never tell ... on the surface. But when I rolled it up to take it out, there before my eyes was clear evidence of all the major mishaps the poor thing had suffered in silence.

Our rug will probably stay until we leave out house but whoever decides to replace it, it is going to be a day without eating horror show for all the dogs and mess we have had over nearly 40 yrs... a true yuck story. With our new spot vac messes on the surface disappear but I know the fiber part of the rug underneath is stained forever...
