Disabled young handler and dog video

Wow, isn't the relationship between the dog and the child just beautiful. The dog is clearly watching the boy and keeping pace with the child, and even though the dog sometimes looks at the next piece of equipment he doesn't take it until the child tells him. It really is the perfect handler dog relationship - rarely do you see such responsiveness with able bodied handlers. Obviously everyone there was rapt too. Just wish it had sound rather than music.

I admire people who won't let anything stop them from giving something a go. At the September outdoor comp I attended there was a woman on a mobility scooter running her small dog Dodger (we felt the name was appropriate). I was so impressed by her handling, she had to control her scooter and give Dodger commands. She actually achieved her very first, first place that comp and we were all so happy for her. She was a lovely person. I stood nattering to her in the queue a few times.
