Dog beds

I have bought so many from many places. You won't believe the ones that have plenty of fluff and stayed so nice. Ones from Sam's Club, and the ones I bought to throw around, and extras to take to the kennel are from the Family Dollar Store in the kids dept.. They are a nice size, one has princess written on it, and the other has sports on it for my boy. The material is great and those I paid $7 for. The one at Sams my husband paid $17. The cost isn't the factor, I had more expensive ones, and they weren't worth a hoot.

Even at Bigg Lots those floor pillows are better then the most expensive pillows I bought. Their big and stay fluffly too.

We thought about buying a dog bed, but then figured CeCe wouldn't sleep on it anyway. Her choices for naptime are always interesting. She likes my mini trampoline, the cold cement floor in the basement, not quite under the couch or bed, and around chair legs. I'm not sure a comfy pillow would not be her first choice.

Now that's what I call Sheltie-smart shopping.:wink2:

Man I really wish I could remember the name of the lady that made the beds for my cat and dog.. I ran into her a few years ago at a animal products show here in MD at the Timonium Fairgrounds.. They were a bit pricey, but some of the proceeds were going towards her organization that was helping some disabled dogs.. I ended up coming home with 2 beds (one for each of the kids) and then a huge "ball" that my gf and I fight over when we go to bed :) I will have to search for the business card because I am pretty sure she had a website and you could order them online. Cali used to never use it, but when the weather starts getting colder I will always find her curled up in a ball in it. My cat likes to flip his upside down and sleep underneith of it! I have no idea what they are stuffed with but it is REALLY soft yet firm and they are covered with fleece.. I really wish I would have got a few more for myself!

Mike could call the fairground organizer and they keep a list of vendors and can supply you with an address, web address if they submitted one to them and even a phone number

Mine all love the nesting beds, like Sadie's new one, and also don't like the pillows. I got a very expensive bed from Orvis years ago that is gorgeous but the stuffing flattened way too quickly. IMO the less expensive nesting beds are definitely the most popular except, of course, for the human beds, couches and chairs which are always the first choice of our spoiled Shelties!

Great pictures, Ontario!! Sadie looks adorable. :biggrin2:

What's a "nesting bed"?

I'm thinking about buying Bacca a bed too!

He's just about ready to move to a bed beside MY bed at nighttime, rather than lug the crate upstairs and downstairs every day. Accidents are no longer a problem....just can't leave any articles of clothing anywhere he can jump up at get at.
