I used the Tear Mender as suggested by the breeder to do Mozart's ears. One of them came off yesterday. So I bought the glue and re-did his ear....but there's a big clump of old glue on top of his head. If I cut it off, he will have a little "dent" on top of his head....what should I do with it?
Also, there's no odor coming from his ears but he is awfully mouthy when I tried touching his ear.I know he never had his head dunked in water before. The 2x I bathed him I've used towel to wash his face, skipped the ears and did the body. Ear was only cleaned once in the past 3 weeks I've had him using rubbing alcohol with cotton ball. Are all puppies so sensitive to touch with their ears?
Only use rubbing alcohol in a dog's ear if necessary because it dries the skin excessively and can make the ears sensitive. Imagine chapped lips.. baby oil is a safe alternative for cleaning ears as well as the normal ear cleaners. Also use soft cotton gauze or wipes but never use cotton swabs for human ears on a dog.
