Ember's first Agility show tomorrow

Silaria--Blair Kelly is taking Erin's place for judging this weekend.Erin was suppose to judge Silaria's trial this weekend but on Monday she she tripped in a hole and sprained her ankle very badly.I think it is more than a sprain becasue it is still swollen and she can bear no weight on it.

Silaria, I think you will like Blair Kelly. He judges around here regularly. His courses are a lot of fun. The excellent people always brush up on the broad jump when going to a show where he's judging, as he has a thing for putting it in the excellent courses. Blair is one of my favorite judges.

Blair was scheduled to be our VMO for this trial. I got to talk to him briefly when I took Edan in for measuring (saves me from having to try to get it done tomorrow morning).

Given Erin's accident happened on Monday, I don't know if I'll be running a course designed by Blair or if Blair will be using the JWW course Erin designed.

I really wish I could have done both days of this show since it's our local Sheltie club's annual trial. Unfortunately I've had something planned for today (the 19th) since early in the year and I couldn't change those plans.

Didn't you have Edan measure at your last AKC trial? I am not sure how the courses work but I do know if you did not want to show under Blair you are given the opportunity to get a refund.I will ask erin about the courses.

How'd Ember do?

(I'll start a separate thread for Edan after I get back from dinner. I don't want to take any more of the spotlight away from Ember's first trial. :o)
