Everett "Noses After His treats"

Oh Steve, I'm so sorry. It's so terribly hard to let them go but it truly is the kindest thing we can do for them.

Sending hugs to you both!

I'm sorrier than I can say about Everett. We went through the same agony with Skye. The build up of toxins in their blood from the kidneys not working makes them feel so awful and nauseous. Are you giving him some subq fluids? That will help flush out the toxins and maybe keep him a little more comfortable.

Hugs to you and your boy.

Steve, you have made the most loving choice and also the most heartbreaking one we ever face with a beloved companion. Thoughts and prayers are with you and Everett...may his passing be peaceful. And may you find some level of comfort in knowing that he will not be struggling anymore.

I am so sorry.

Trini

Steve - My heart breaks for you. I will never forget that day. "The most unselfish act of love we can offer: To end our dog's suffering, we must choose to accept our own."
