Life has been a bit overwhelming lately. SO, Cruz and I spent some time together yesterday talking to the trees. We hit up a quiet hiking trail with camera in tow and took in all the pretty fall colours. Ah, nature and a pup.. no better remedy

Reminds me that I need to get Hanna out on the trails this week - I've been running a bad cold and we had a family medical emergency that is now over, time to take solace in nature.

Cass, great pics of a wonderful way to spend an autumn day. Cruz is so handsome and obviously loving every minute he is sharing with you in the wilderness. It is true, there is little in the world that can bring greater peace than a quiet day shared with a beloved canine companion.

Such beautiful pictures of such gorgeous subject matters. Cruz looks to be having a wonderful time, I think my favorite picture is the last one. Life can sometimes be overwhelming and it looks like Cruz is just thinking back over what has been and contemplating on what is to be . . . too bad he can't tell you what is on his mind.
