Farewell, Musashi

It is with deep sorrow that I share the news that the great Champion Pop Star SS of Northern Farm passed away on May 18th from kidney failure. His achievement are beyond compare, and his legacy will live on in his sons and daughters. Go with our thanks, Musashi.

OH I COULD CRY, ALTHOUGH I ALREADY AM!!! He was Sandstorms grandsire!!! And only 12, that makes me sad, I will have to email Bronwyn Asplund, Sandstorms breeder.

A late farewell to a beautiful boy

We are lucky to have one of Musashi's late in life sons, who was born in May of 2010. We met the great champion when we adopted our beautiful pet Sheltie, Luke. He has his daddy's eyes and wonderful spirit. We often talk of Musashi here, as we love Shelties (Luke is our third), and we are so happy to have one of his puppies. Our late condolences to you and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Susan & Doug Whiteman

Luke ( 1.5 years, tri-color)
Shyla (12.5 years, sable and white)
Sunny (9 years, our very wise and clever Shih Tzu)

Oh you met him!! He is Sandstorms grand sire. Sandstorm looks like the female side of his family though, lol!! I would have loved to have met Musashi, what a proud looking handsome dog!

Meeting Musashi

Yes, we did! When we were looking for a tri-color pup one of the breeders thought she had a litter on the way, also by Musashi. Unfortunately the breeding didn't take, but she gave me the name of another breeder who had pups on the ground, and Musashi and Luke's mom, Steffi were both on the premises, so we got to meet them in August of 2010. Musashi was still grand, and a gentle fellow too, much like our beautiful Luke. Luke's head shape and eyes, even his size and body type are very much his dad's, though he is a bit smaller. We love him to bits, and tell him about his handsome father all the time.
Our first Sheltie's great grandsire was the long-famous Peter Pumpkin. (That goes back a ways...)
