Hello to all of you Sheltie Nation Forumer's
Dasher is home today and he didn't even have to stay the night at the hospital.
He is doing very well today. Last night he was a little out of it but with my nursing skills and my love for him we did fine. The incision is quite large with looks like about 15 sutures. I have the instructions to follow(no problem).
It was NOT Cancer.
My Vet was so wonderful and he knows I have some experience with assistance in the Veterinary Field so Dasher was in good hands at home.
I want to thank you for all of your good wishes for Dasher. I am sure GOD heard all of us and that really helped too.
Dasher says" THANK YOU TOO". HE IS RIGHT HERE BY MY SIDE BARKING LIKE A LITTLE GOON. Yep back to normal.
Last night he was pretty out of it from the anesthesia. Moving around but really kept me on my toes watching him. He is on an antibotic and pain medication and I put a hot compress on the area once to twice a day.
Thanks again.
Tracy & Dasher.

Watch those stitches...does he have one of those fun-filled Elizabethan collars? That's what they sent my girl home with when they took the tumor off her leg. We had a great time trying to keep that on for 10 days...not!
