Not sure if this pic helps - but Tully is 13" and jumps at 12" (330mm and jumps 300mm).
As the pic shows she can still reach her feet on the ground to get a spring off. The second photo is her levitating over a jump.
OK - its a lame excuse for posting more pics of Tully jumping, she is so gosh darn cute though.![]()
Nice pictures.I don't have any from Koji's first trial, nor do I have any good ones from his agility classes. However, these are the only two I have. They're from his first Show-n-Go and I love them because 1. he looks like he's having tons of fun and 2. he looks like those other agility photos you see of Shelties aka what you see in this thread.
Thanks for sharing all the photos. I love them all and hope to get some of Koji "flying".

You could seriously injure your dog. That is why there are jump heights for a reason. A dog 13 inches in AKC jumps 12 one of my dogs is 16 7/8 and the other is 15 and both they jump 16 inches.
Exactly - jump height limits help protect the dog from serious injury. Just because a dog CAN jump over twice its height doesn't mean it should. Remember, agility focuses on the dog's ability to accurately and quickly navigate over and through the obstacles on a course, with the help of the handler of course.
