my geekiness was coming out- Lutjanus jocu is the scientific name of - wait for it- the Dog Snapper
since I work as a fishery biologist and the main group of fish that I study are the snappers......... I have had that name picked out since before Cranberry came home. but Cran had to be Cranberry
so now was the time to use it

What a saga! It's so funny how it all works out sometimes. Now you will be able to add to the "do bi-blacks have a different temperament" post!
Jocu is really handsome with that big wide blaze. What do Cran and Dixie think?
We are suddenly having a big influx of SN folk with bi-blacks!!
so I know how in the past, we've talked about how to pick a new puppy- temperament, etc.
and y'all know that I picked Cran purely for his color
and now I'm picking dogs just by markings...
I didn't ask anything about temperament, structure, etc- just do any of the black puppies have a blaze and might be on the smaller side.
he reminds me a lot of Cran as a puppy- hope he doesn't get that big
so he picks his back leg up to pee sometimes- Cran did that as puppy too.
6 hour car ride and not sick and apparently let the people know that he had to go so no messes in his crate either.
has no issues going up to the big shelties to instigate play so lots of confidence- breeder said noises did not seem to bother him either
and is so cute and sweet and cuddly
