well, it's not like the breeder is 5 min away- we met at the truck stop.
let's see, first week in Jan- found out wasn't going to get the blue girl so asked about blacks with blazes. got a pic of two pups Jan 11 and picked mine. so haven't known for sure that I was really getting a puppy for too long. but the stars aligned for the rest of it- day after litter turned 8 weeks old, breeder and another breeder driving to TX for big dog show. I happen to be on the way so we just arranged the meeting at the interstate. Some lucky person in Baton Rouge also did not have to drive far for a puppy...
 
Oh, he is a beautiful baby boy!
I didn't know there was something different about bi-blacks; that's what my George is. Come to think of it, he is a frisky, smart, goofy, and outgoing little guy--are those bi-black qualities, lol?
