First AKC Trial & Enzo's Debut!

Excellent!! I already have a Manners Minder so actually something I don't need to buy. :biggrin2: It in in the car for Epic so I hadn't considered it as a training aid for Angus :rolleyes2:

Interesting to know Sparrow is also food motivated - I had imagined she would be very toy driven - and she is pretty enthusiastic. :yes: The toy I'm making is a homemade version of the Lotus ball - made from an old fleece. I was industriously sewing on binding and Velcro today at work :lol:

I feel so much more positive now after reading both your posts so thank you very much. :smile2: Angus starts proper training soon...

Well...I'm regretting it a little bit, but we have 3 shows in a row! We have one this coming weekend (USDAA) and the next weekend is another AKC show--but it's about 15 minutes from our house which I'm excited about!

Trouble is that we've decided we can't practice weaves in the yard anymore because Enzo doesn't seem to focus as much (also we only have a set of 6 poles, and a set of 12 22" poles which seems to mess with his footwork) but we are only at the training building once or twice a week which makes training with any continuity difficult.

Thats why Celtic is a bit slower at progressing. I dont have any equipment at my house only a few jumps. Rachel has a full course but I have been so busy and I cant get there very often.. So we go to class 2 times a week and slowly progress. We are hoping to be ready be next spring
