The vinegar and water sounds great. How about skin so soft by Avon, the bath oil, mixed with water.

The Avon makes them greasy, and fast. I used it for a while, then got grossed out.

Thank you. After doing research, pyrethrum is not the way to go for me. It can cause illness in dogs, attributed to seizures and nervous system disorders as well.

I would totally use this if it is reliable. I am so afraid of constantly putting chemicals on them.

The anti-chemical rabid raw feeders swear by it. I was just told to use it to rinse after a bath because it's a great antiseptic and gets rid of the shampoo residue.

I am going to give this a try. I buy it by the gallon anyway because I clean with it, especially the dog crates and guinea pig cages.
