Fleur already had an accident, need advice

It’s been a busy month, sorry for the no updates. Splint is off and we have a small chicken leg, she is on limited activity for 2 weeks and that hasn’t been easy. We got her trained to go on artificial turf, need to start working on going outside now that we don’t have to worry about getting the splint wet, but she wants to run too much. OH THAT FACE!!! She's very light and looks a LOT like my Meadow. Glad progress is being made, they heal quickly at that age, but it's also a royal pain keeping them from overdoing it. What's her personality like?

She is the opposite our previous sheltie, Beignet. Beignet, I think was mistreated as a puppy. She never learned to play with toys and was very skiddish about accidents, so by the time we got her at 6 months, we never had to worry about her having accidents or biting/chewing on anything. She didn't jump on things. She was the bestest puppy ever lol.

This one is a true puppy, chewing on our feet, shoes, poop, furniture, random things. Everyone sits on the couch or chairs with their feet up and she has become known as the piranha roaming the living room waiting to chomp. We are working on it and she is getting a lot better, mostly bites when she is really spun up. Was having lots of accidents, but with the artificial grass, we got that mostly settled. The poop eating is annoying, but now that she can go outside again and we can start training out there, I think that will rectify itself. Crate training actually worked pretty quick and we she only makes noise if she has to go out.

Personality wise she is very mischievous, loves to play, especially with my daughter which makes me so happy because my daughter and Beignet basically just existed together. Beignet kinda had a your below me attitude to her and didn't really listen or play with her. B was here well before my daughter though. My daughter is actually excited to play with and take care of Fleur, which is really great to see. Fleur goes bonkers for her more than anyone else too. She likes to cuddle and be up on the bed or sofa which is way different than Beignet who wanted to remain on the ground and only barely touch you. She doesn't seem as eager to learn tricks as Beignet and gets tired of training quickly, probably just her age, but she is learning hand signals and commands slowly. Very sheltie mouthy lol. Tires me out pretty quickly too. It's been a big adjustment going from a slow elderly dog to this ball of constant energy, but we love having her here. Especially when it's just me and her in the house while I am working at home, it's nice to have a doggo back at my side. It was really lonely here after we lost B.
