Today at work one of the staff popped in to show us her new 7wk old puppy.
I looked at him and said "he's a Sheltie "... "yes" she said "had Shelties all my life growing up." A pretty sable boy !! I asked "what's his name ?" ... "Dexter" .. she said ..
I said.. " your kidding me" ... my co-workers looked at me ... I said " how beautiful." "My heart dog' s name was Dexter and he went to the Rainbow Bridge Nov 29/11 ... I am so pleased and he would be so proud to have such a handsome name sake ... "
It was one of those beautiful heart moments :yes:

What a heartwarming story! It's so sad to hear of the losses, but stories like this definitely make you feel like they are still very much alive in your heart. Such a handsome, sweet looking boy!
 
Don't know what to say except he was a beautiful boy and I hope you are able to let the memories of your time together make you smile.
 
Nice story ... maybe your Dexter was letting you know that he is thinking of you through this incident! He was a lovely boy!
