I am repeating my PM message to you, so please forgive me, but I wanted to have other people read my reply.
Yes, I am sure the owner does not want them to go to rescue. That is why she ran the ad and is trying to find homes that she, herself, can approve of. I am sure if it gets to that point that she is a VERY repsonsible person and will make sure they do go to a rescue situation, but I am sure she will find homes for her babies.
She goes into great lenghts in the ad talking about the personalities of each dog and that the homes have to be approved. She sounds very much like she will do right by these dogs and that they are very much loved.
I only meant to post that response about rescues so no one else would ask. I believe she is truly concerned about where her dogs go & they seem gorgeous. I didn't intend anyone to think I was knocking her for not wanting to give them to a rescue. She did a great job of describing the dogs looks & personality & was honest about the positive qualities as well as any "quirks".
If she were over this way people would be fighting to have a chance to get one!

I got turned down, due to living in an apartment.

I have emailed the breeder & got the ok to get Grapes, one of her beautiful dogs. I have been trying to arrange transport since I have had knee surgery & can't make the drive myself. It looks like things are set up for me to meet the transport Saturday when they bring her back but I have not been able to get in touch with the breeder now. All I have is her email address. I have sent her my phone # & emailed her several times but haven't heard back. I am beginning to worry there is a problem. I can understand if something has changed but need to know ASAP so I can cancel the transport. It would be wonderful to get Grapes so I am hoping it will work out. Please keep your fingers crossed that I am worrying for nothing.
That is the weirdest thing. Her ad is down. I did all sorts of google searches and can't come up with a phone number for her. I know in the ad she said she was working 12 hours plus a day. Maybe she had to work several days in a row or something. I really, really hope things come through for you and please let me know what you find out, good or bad.
After 6-7 attempts to get an answer from the breeder by email I have come to understand that she must have changed her mind. I emailed her 1 last time to wish her well & hoping Grapes finds a wonderful home. I also canceled the transport because they were going to have to go 3 hours out of their way (flying) & there was no certantity there would be a dog waiting. I am very disappointed but will hug my other shelties tighter & be glad I have them.

Grapes would have had a fantastic home. Maybe things will work out some other way. In any case, you made a really good effort, it is the breeder's loss.

Hi, I have been wanting a gorgeous adult sable and white shelter for quite sometime now, we would like to have preferably a white factored and sable male, but we also like females, my fiance and I have a lot of time and a lot of love to give to this angel, 1 to 3 yrs old would be perfect, or even a 4 to 5 yrs old, we just want a nice quality sheltie to make our lives complete, we don't have any kids so he or she will be the king of this place, can anyone tell me how can I contact this breeder and where exactly does she lives, thanks.
