Fruit or Veggies instead of store bought treats?

Oh yeah I forgot to mention we had to move out vegetable garden to a location Shelby can’t get to. She would sneak into the garden and help herself to all the fresh veggies. And when I pick the veggies she is very sneaky and will steal them from my basket the first chance she can get.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:Smart girl!
Piper LOVES cherry tomatoes and I have avoided showing him how to pick them for that very reason!
My brother years ago had a Shepherd that would help herself to the raspberries...didn't leave much for us lol.

Yep I've posted before about my tomato stealing dogs! :bigtears: Standing on tippy-toes to reach the ones planted in a large pot, pulling the big concrete reinforcing wire put up around the ones in the ground to deter them... you get the picture. My first Sheltie Skye was very stealthy, but I'd come home to find tomato seeds on her bib and a very smug dog. She got the first ripe tomato every year!!

I also make homemade jerky for the dogs using either beef heart, liver, chicken and even pork or ground beef (I have a jerky gun that allows you to make jerky with ground meats.
I then dehydrate it. Super easy and CHEAP! Lol
Can't remember the last time I bought treats.

Cody loves green bean treats but he will happily eat anything vegetable. He also was helping himself to tomatoes from the garden so we had close that off to save some. But he will do anything for green beans
