Gavin is getting a pool

I love it! Great sized pool! Brodie looks like he really likes it! With a pool that size I have no doubt that I could get the dogs in it with me (ok, I’d probably have to splash the water:ROFLMAO:) although lots of barking would ensue!
Gizmo looks great, he sure has grown up. How old is he now?
Deacon is such a cutie! And you’ve got a good looking son!
 
So we tried out the pool today. I started out with maybe an inch of water. Gavin would sit in it, but not lay down. I really want his belly to get wet to cool him down. This is the dog who loves to lay in the ocean, btw. we will try again as the heat wave is supposed to last a few more days.
 
Our dogs have always viewed water as something like the scene with the wicked witch from the Wizard of Oz. Mind you these are the same dogs that will sit in frozen water(snow) and think it is the greatest invention ever.

We started PT for Katy, as she's developed arthritis in her hips. One of the options is a water tread mill but she did not face that the first day as the Dr. evaluated her and then worked on some land based exercises we can do at home with her. We are also getting a pick me up harness to help her with stairs and when she frogs on the floor. We are to go back in 2 weeks at which point she may have to face the water.
