Someone on my IBD group sent me the link to this recent podcast about gallbladder mucoceles, knowing that Tully needs her gallbladder out.

It is from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London from March 2020 and discusses some of the more recent research on GBM. Some of this most will already know, but I found the discussion about other research interesting.

I did struggle with the interviewee's accent - from somewhere in the US.

Thank you, Caro! Appreciate any information to help us with this disease that shelties are predisposed to!
My first rescue sheltie passed from this disease. The more information you have the better!

I was expecting a strong southern accent but she sounds totally normal so likely from the northeast.......

Thank s for sharing Caro, very informative and the more we the pet owners educate ourselves the more we can educate our veterinarians.
I'm guessing the difficulty in understanding her probably has to do with what your used to hearing...I find British accents more difficult to understand, I really didn't notice any accent with this lady but then you'd probably say I have an accent when I hear nothing lol.

I love British and Australian accents:yes:
but the American lady on the podcast- not much of an accent really

LOL yep, per this American, she did not have an accent. I also love British and Aussie accents and after watching many Brit TV shows can even understand Scots and Northern English accents. I lived in London for 6 months in the early 70's and got an appreciation for the British colloquialisms. And two trips to Oz and a handful of Aussie friends gave me deep appreciation of their sense of humor!
