Get a tri-colour!

I have five- 4 sables. Not commenting on the different colours, but BEWARE! Our five gang up on us! They are a little sheltie gang intent on destroying all tissues and toilet paper!
 
My tri is just a puppy. She is very sweet, and a bit of devil too. Of course, she has her sister egging her on, so...

My mom has a bi-black male that has no devil- Murray is the sweetest dog that has ever lived. He is just sweet. I don't think he's the smartest, but he makes up for it by being sweet.

And our sable girl, Annabelle, was the most devilish dog I've ever met. She had us in tears on multiple occassions! She has finally calmed down and is a good dog, but it took 3 years to get there.

We have 2 bi-blacks and all I'm asked is "Are those border collies?" Some days I feel like wearing a sign saying MY DOG ARE SHETLAND SHEEPDOGS!!
 
We had 3 Tri's & were intent on getting a 4th -until we found Jack at a disreputable breeder in Penn. I made the 6 hour trip down -they switched dogs & gave us what was obviously their "problem " pup instead of the one we picked out over the net (I should have brought a picture -markings were totally different & dog was twice the size!)

all turned out great -after all the work, heartbreak, biting, etc. etc. Jack -our "rescue" Color Headed White has stolen our hearts.

We walk our tri with two border collies (one regular colours, the other crossed with a GSD and has those colours) and everyone thinks she is the puppy of the collies. Then I tell them she's like 4 and had a litter of pups, no one can believe it.

Though I do see where they are coming from, she looks like their baby

And Diesel treats Pippa like her puppy, always mothering her and Pip follows her everywhere
 
Laddie here...ahm a sahble-mahogany! I is VERY smaht. Mah sistah Katie is a tri. She tinks she iz smaht, but I is smahter!!:lol:
 
Personally, you can't got wrong with any colour! Sable, bi, tri, merle? They are all wonderful!

But I do tend to think they have different personalities. Does anyone else think that?
