I could not find Detachol at any of the medical stores in Ottawa either. If finally found it on eBay. But I just checked and the only supplier is from the US and will charge $13 for the bottle and $28 for the shipping! Crazy!

I would go to Shoppers or any other pharmacy. I'm sure they would order it for you.
 
Meh, so I`ve checked shoppers, home health care centre, walmart, walmart pharmcy, and other health care stores and none of them have Detachol or even carry it (aka wont order it in for me because its not something they sell)....... Any other store suggestions?? Weird that no where would sell it. I've emailed Detachol too and the only thing they said was that because their office is in the states they dont know of canadian retailers that carry their brand (WEIRD?!).... so I'm at a standstill. Hmm
 
Have you checked with the breeder about what they use? He/She probably has store or other brand name suggestions. I've used Zo Eze and Uni-Solve and they all do the same thing. If your breeder is a distance away do you have anyone more local to you that you could try to contact? Even if you didn't get a puppy from a breeder most are pretty nice and could probably point you in the right direction to find local supplies.

Do you have any dog shows coming up? We usually have vendors that sell the items too.
 
I could use a different product if worst comes to worst I guess, my breeder uses goo gone but alot of members here didnt really like it because of the smell and the irritation compared to Detachol. Other than that I believe she buys things in bulk from Rens Depot since she's a breeder, I've never ordered from there before because I usually only need ex one brush or one bottle of something because I only have one dog. I'll look up on local shows though, thanks for those very good suggestions!

I used Zo-eze and it was great!
 
Eww, yeah, I wouldn't use goo gone either. Hey maybe once you figure out how to get ahold of it you'll convert your breeder to one of these products :)

I don't know about ZoEze but this is the website for the maker of uni-solve and they do have a section which asks what country you are in. That would lead me to believe they may be able to direct you to a Canadian distributor? Worth a shot.

I also emailed a breeder I've had contact with in Ontario asking what she uses to remove adhesive and if it's one of the 3 we've been discussing where it can be found. I'll let you know what she says.
