Thank you so much, will be hoping to hear from you soon! In the meantime ill definitely look through those links, thanks a lot for your help.

I don't know about ZoEze but this is the website for the maker of uni-solve and they do have a section which asks what country you are in. That would lead me to believe they may be able to direct you to a Canadian distributor? Worth a shot.

I also emailed a breeder I've had contact with in Ontario asking what she uses to remove adhesive and if it's one of the 3 we've been discussing where it can be found. I'll let you know what she says.

Meh, so I`ve checked shoppers, home health care centre, walmart, walmart pharmcy, and other health care stores and none of them have Detachol or even carry it (aka wont order it in for me because its not something they sell)....... Any other store suggestions?? Weird that no where would sell it. I've emailed Detachol too and the only thing they said was that because their office is in the states they dont know of canadian retailers that carry their brand (WEIRD?!).... so I'm at a standstill. Hmm

Then your walmart pharmacy staff are being absolutley ridiculous! Mine oes'nt sell it either, nor o they have a need to stock it..but it is available, and they will order it.you nee to speak to management~

I find that response, totally not acceptable, that they will not order it.I know better. If it were me,and I needed it,they could get it,why should it make a differance to them.As long as you are willing to pay the price for it.It is pricey,no doubt.
I probably would be going to management of the store.I was told by pharmacist in our walmart. If it is on thier order sheets, they will order anything for any customer.

BTW..vegetable oil works well in a pinch to.And a fine tooth comb!

Amazon.com sells the Zo eze and will normally ship to Canada

They also sell Detachol as well but it is more expensive.

I can't speak for Zo Eze but the Detachol is great. No irritation and no smell. Bacca never noticed it for a moment.

Don't even think about Goo Gone! I tried it when I was desperate and it made one hell of a mess, and still did not remove the glue.

I've called around and no one seems to sell and order Zoeze and detachol anywhere near the face of the world where I am it seems... but ONE store has said they had an adhesive remover called Uni-Solve that is apparently all natural by smiths and nephew... has anyone hear of it? Is this safe to use on dogs??? It's really about the time I found something for Precious's ears to get the glue out..

I just bought adhesive remover from Shoppers Drugmart. I'm not sure what its called, I'll have to go home and look.

It is not all natural but the smell wasn't too bad and it did an adequate job. The only thing was that it left a semi oily film on the fur, but it wiped off easily.

If you could check the name for me it would be great, dont mind WHAT I use as long as it is safe and gets the job done. I`ll endure the smells or the messy job if need be. Thanks :)

Did you try to order Detachol off Amazon?

Truly, I think its the best remover. You could probably have it within 5 days.

And did you know that if you click Amazon website from this forum, that the forum actually benefits? I can't remember the particulars but others can fill in the details, I'm sure.

The unisolve ... I've used it before.. I used the kind that came in the premoistened wipes. Very handy. And, it worked great on ear tape. I'd go ahead and give it a try. :) I never heard it was Natural though... it still stinks in my opinion. Wickets by Mel sells it and they are a store that carries products soley for the sheltie and collie.
