Good Day Bad Day Agility

Well, the good news the weather was great in NY for the trial and Shadow won his class but the bad news as we were heading over the finish line I hear a pop in my right knee.I refused medical help in NY and chose to go to my own hopsital in Conn. because I felt more comfortable. I either tore a ligament or the minicus.I can not walk and the pain is bad.We missed our JWW run but they did offer for free the CGC test and Shadow passed it.We are out for awhile for agility.

I am so sorry to hear about your knee, how disappointing. I did the miniscus a couple of years ago and it took ages to recover - flat surfaces were fine but going down hill was impossible. Don't push to get back to agility too quickly - you dont want to do any long term damage.

Can someone train with shadow and sting while you are resting your knee?

Ouch!

Reading your post made me wince. As others have said, give yourself time to heal completely.

Congrats to Shadow on his win and CGC.

I'm sorry to hear about your knee Sharon! Take care of yourself and let it heal. We want to see you back to being healthy because we love to read about Shadow and Sting's accomplishments and they can't do it without you!! Congrats on the win and Shadow passing his CGC test! Feel better!

I'm so sorry to hear of your injury and the pain you are experiencing. Do keep us posted when you feel like doing so.

Oh, Sharon, I'm sorry to hear about your knee. Please take the time so it will heal properly and not rush back to training or competing. Healing prayers for you.
