Grooming Tote

My CC tote....

I was very disappointed to find out that the CC tote that I ordered weeks ago that was supposed to be delivered July 20th was still backordered.

So inspired by Ariel's find, I went back to Walmart to check out the craft tote that I'd seen before...It holds absolutely everything, and still pockets to spare.

It cost me $25 Cdn ($20 US) and it's perfect! Saved me $20 plus shipping! Woo hoo!

Oh and just to give an inventory of what I've loaded it with:

- 3 pin brushes
- 1 comb
- 1 slicker
- 1 furminator
- 3 spray bottles - dry shampoo, Ice on Ice and Naked Care (It can't take more than that unfortunately). For regular shampoo, I would probably move into a small travel bottle and refill regularly.
- Ziplock bag of wet wipes
- cotton balls
- a "cosmetic case" that holds my scissors, lady shavor, Quick Stop

And I still about 5 pockets and several zippers to spare! And also the slide out tray at the bottom is still empty. I could fit my Pedicure and even its power supply in there if I needed to.

And I just compared it to the photo of the CC bag - the only thing its missing is a shoulder strap. But I have enough of those from other bags that I'm sure I could cluge something together.

It looks almost identical to the CC tote. Don't you love to save a bundle of money like that?
 
I just love this tote....I was able to haul all their gear up to the cottage this weekend and both of them got an overhaul after they excaped into the burrs....nasty mess! I had all my implements of torture with me in one compact carry-all....there was no escaping my attentions! Poor boys!
 
Darnitall...I made a special trip to Wal Mart this weekend hoping to find one but no such luck LOL...

Check online and see if you can find it. I think they will ship it to your local store so you don't have to pay the shipping charges too. That might be the way to go. Let me know if that works out for you!
 
I couldn't find it online at Walmart.ca - only at Walmart.com - but you can still give them a try (perhaps send them an email with the link to the US site?). I don't know if Walmart.com will ship to Canada.

Failing that, I would be happy to pick one up for you and ship it to you. Let me know! :smile2:
 
If you're going to buy it at Target, remember that you can get it at Target.com, through Sheltie Nation, then Amazon.com. That way Sheltie Nation will get a small stipend from Amazon.com. Have fun!!
