Growing girl!!!

We go back to the vet in 3 weeks for most of her final shots. Then 2 weeks later for rabies. She will be 16 weeks then so we have 5 weeks to go before we are free to roam safely.

2Gooddogs, thanks for the comment on Lacey. Like you said, she may be a little one, but she is going to be pretty no matter what size she ends up.

How come your confinement is like tiny short and mine is like insanely long at 10 weeks! This has been the longest darn 10 weeks of my life! With Shay getting him at 12 weeks, eh, we were free real quick. This, ugh!

The vet was talking about doing her rabies in 3 weeks, but I am going to wait until she is 16 weeks old. I don't want her getting all those drugs at one time. so I still have another 5 weeks to go.

I was told in CA you can't give rabies shot til 16 weeks? Or is that a county thing? Fresno County won't accept rabies for licensing til 16 weeks.

I am SO stir crazy. I want to go, I want to go. It just seems such a terribly long time to get to 16 weeks + 1 week for the shots to take effect. I hit the road Sat. Sept. 6th.

Don't forget that you also got Cubby at 7 weeks too!

I know. I have had him for a LONG time now. The home-stretch is the hardest. I places to go and people for Cubby to meet!

I know what you mean. I have only had Lacey for a week, but she has been out to the pet store twice and the vet. That's it so far.

I went out to Costco this afternoon and was rewarded by this picture of her from my daughter. It was nice to get out of the house.
Someone is all stretched out and very relaxed. Look at her huge belly. This girl loves to eat!!!

We made some major progress tonight too. My 21 month old Grand Daughter decided she wanted to hold Lacey for the first time. she was blowing her kisses and petting her. It only took a week for her to adjust to the puppy.

I LOVE that photo! My Trace slept upside down often. Baker has only been seen once in that adorable position.

Lacey is so cute - even from bellys-eye view!
