Growling

Ditto here! With my pups it is not aggression per se. It's more just notifying me that something different is going on. Last week, it was Bacca growling at a book lying open on the floor! (I think was my warning to pick it up before Indy started to chew on it - he LOVES books!)

I would do as OntarioSheltie suggests. However if you start finding other aggressive behaviour, more action may be required.
 
Some of these growling stories are funny.

Ariel growls at herself in the mirror.
Phebe does that, too. Usually, when she wants to play but I'm busy with something else. It makes me feel a bit sorry that she's the only dog in the house. :sadsmile:
