A quote from my first post:

I have to say, I stalked the forum for a little while before finally breaking down to join in the fun!

I joined because I got a lot of my early questions answered and thought this would be a great place for support when I got my new pup. I was afraid that because I also have a Papillon (therefore was not a Sheltie "purist") I might be scorned. But Michele (mbfrench) was the first person to reply and put me at ease immediately! This place is amazing for its compassion, ease at forgiveness (so many things can be misread in this type of communication), sheer volume of information, and priceless learning experiences of others. That is why I stayed AND why I came back after having to take a leave because I was so overloaded at work and home. If you all hadn't been amazing, I would have just moved on.

If you are a guest reading this, consider joining. All we ask is a few pictures (especially of puppies) and returned respect.

I Love Lurkers

Welcome Lurkers!! Learn all you can about Shelties. Feel the love here a Sheltie Nation!

I can sympathize with folks who simply don't have time to fully engage n a forum. This is the ONLY place I post; it's a choice I make because I think here is where I can offer and receive the most valuable and enriching interaction. Yet I welcome those who join only for a brief interaction. After all, I enjoy visiting Paris, but I don't want to live there. :biggrin2:

First they let non-tricolors in (well Sables like Mom are OK), then it is other dogs... next it will be cats :eek2:
