Hartley measured 10 1/4" at 11 wks 2 days

Ha, ha, ha! When Asta did the display of her teeth like that we always said she was displaying her "choppers" because she was so proud of them, especially when her adult teeth came in.

We'd always call out "choppers!" when one of of spotted her doing it because it was so darn funny.

I think Hartley is great and so do you and that's all that counts! :biggrin2:

Choppers! You have that right Sharon.

She also said he has good structure but felt he could have a bit more expression. I think his expression is fine. See for yourself.

I think Hartley is adorable.
I sure don't miss those needle teeth. Miss Sadie, thank goodness, has her regular teeth.

I did ask for an honest opinion and that is what she gave me, it didn't bother me at all.
I am so glad Hartley made you laugh he makes me laugh everyday.

Had a good friend who is a breeder and judge come by yesterday. She measured Hartley and did his ears for me. He is now 10 1/4" at 11 weeks and 2 days old. I do know about the size chart but I am just curious what some of our forum experts think he'll mature to.

She also said he has good structure but felt he could have a bit more expression. I think his expression is fine. See for yourself. :wink2:

I never understand that statement. More expression what does that mean? softer eye, more animation? less animation? what? How does one have more expression? Clearly Hartley is animated. I think he could use a softer eye but so could Birch. Clearly both are still very cute.:smile2:

Is she kidding? He is so darn cute. I just want to pick him up and give him big hugs.
How do you measure Shelties? I would like to know Max size, so then maybe I won't freak out so much about his weight! Lol
