Hello All!

You did fine posting the pictures. They are excellent. They are beautiful girls. I bet you are very proud of them.

Welcome Miranda. Tulip and Roxy sound like so much fun!!! Can't wait to get to know you guys too. I have Kai'a - a 12 week old sable girl who is the love of our animal life. We also have a 16 year old HUGE cat named Elvis who runs the joint!! Have a great weekend!

Miranda,
Welcome! I am new to forum as well. Beautiful pics of your fluffsters! How do they relate to each other? Does the outgoing one helps the reserved one?
I have one sheltie, Che, he is going to be 4 months on Jan 30, but have considered adopting second one from rescue... my pup is very outgoing and independent ... so I was thinking that it would spill over if the second pup is shy and undersocialized but I was told it is rarely the case... first one would still be outgoing and second one while might relate better to the dog would still be shy...

Tulip is older and reserved but not shy. Roxy is younger and spunkier. Both of them are not super friendly with people they don't know. However Tulip will come up to people she does know for a pat, and if you're really lucky she will let you scratch her stomach. We also have a 11 month old Lab Dane mix ( was supposed to be a foster....yeah). Before we got her Roxy used to constantly harass Tulip to play, they have a funny relationship. I actually think it helped Tulip as she did come out of her shell and now plays with Roxy. But, Roxy now has her work cut out for her as Nelly constantly harasses her to play, and if she doesnt want to she bites her in the but until she plays out of frustration!

In your case I don't know, I think it really is a case by case basis, and also how much socialization the shy one gets with people :)

Welcome to the forum! Be careful, it is very addicting! You will be constantly pestered by your pups to step away from the computer!

The B&W photo is absolutely striking! You should enlarge it and hang on your wall!
