I actually had a little ear problem with him a while ago when his other ear started to go up. His breeder then glued it back down and later we also added a little weight on the other ear just to make sure it stays down.
Everything is removed now though. I'm hopeful the ears will stay that way...
Do your shelties have naturally tipped ears or have you had to do something to them?

As he was 5 months old one ear started to go up when he was excited or alert. It has something to do with the teeth changing apparently. After that Perry's ears got back to normal. But it's no always so - last week I glued the ears of my friend's Sheltie, it is 8 month old and I'm not really sure if it is helping at this age because the ears are actually standing upright 
Just when I thought Robin's ears are doing fine... When I woke up this morning the first thing I saw was his ears, both had gone up.
I put some weight on them. Sigh...
