Welcome to the forum.
Personally, I will not have more than one sheltie at a time- they bark a lot. Ofcourse, I love my Sandstorm dearly, and want to always have a sheltie. But just one, keep in mind they are barkers. They are also wonderful dogs, smart, intuitive, sensitive, and very loyal and loving. And funny!!!

Wow, that was a nice surprise. Thank you all for the very nice welcome and for all the suggestions.

I would love to post a picture or two, but I don't know how it is done. Can someone point me in the right direction? :confused2:

Thank you, and I know what you mean. I have been looking for a little brother or sister for Sherlock already.

Welcome to the forum:smile2: July is a good birthday for dogs. My Justice was born just after midnight on July 6. He is my sable too/

Yes those shelties tend to add up fast. I have 3 shelties that live with me and 1 that lives with his co owner. My guys who live here are 9,6 and 3. I think I see a pattern and am due for one soon.:smile2:

How adorable! He's sure got tons of personality in his face, doesn't he! lol It's like he's saying..."ENOUGH with the camera! Let's get down to BUSINESS! FOOD ME!!" LOL:yes:
