Welcome! 'Blue Like Jazz' is one of my favorites, too. :smile2:

Kelsey has such a sweet face. I lost my 'old girl' last year and know how hard that adjustment is, but a new pup definitely helps. From the pix, it looks like it will be a few more weeks until Jazz is old enough to come home. I bet you're so excited!

Hello! I'm actually in Ohio right now, but by the time I get my puppy I will be living in Huntsville (for my new job). I grew up with a Sheltie named Kelsey, and she had to be put to sleep almost two months ago at the age of 14. My husband and I are excited to have our own Sheltie very soon. We're getting a tri-color female that we're naming Jazz (because of one of our favorite books, Blue Like Jazz). She was born April 14, and we'll get her in early June. Just wanted to say hello, and I look forward to interacting on the forum!

You must try to get with Sca's dad..they are in Alabama!

But welcome to the forums, your little tri is just a cutie. They are so cute when they are so young, look like hamsters!((but in a cute way))

Kelsey was very beautiful. It's sad when you loose one of your fur kids.I'm soory for your loss.
Thank you for the pictures..the troops sometimes get restless...:biggrin2:

How fun! Do you know of any good dog parks in Huntsville?

I don't - but maybe Sheep does. I actually live near Mobile and while we are trying to get a dog park there- right now, the closest to me is in Daphne, AL.
Dog parks are a little more scarce in the south than in other areas of the country.

I have family in Fairhope. Glad to know there's a dog park in Daphne in case I bring Jazz along on the next visit!

What a cute puppy!

Welcome to the group. I hope that you enjoy your time here.

Kelsey looked like a real sweetheart.

I look forward to seeing pictures of Jazz growing up :biggrin2:

Bless your sheltie angel Kelsey and welcome Jazz. We all will look forward to more pictures. Jazz is a cute as can be and they just grow up way to fast. We would love to see a picture of Daisy too. I am so happy your mom got another girl to love.
