Welcome to Sheltie Nation! How excited you must be. Make sure to take lots of pictures! We all would love to see you soon to be new addition. :smile2:

Bringing a dog to work isn't really the done thing here either, however I drew up a really comprehensive "Dogs at Work" Policy and my boss looked it over and agreed! I don't know anyone who gets to bring their dog with them to work, so I know I am very lucky!!! Hope it goes well! My game plan is to concentrate on toilet training & "quiet" and after that I think it should go smoothly :fl

I'm actually planning on trying to bring my pup to work as well but not so much space to work with so we'll see if it works out. Company I work with has a home office and a Pomeranian so they're just as excited to meet her as I am to bring her. Would be nice if the dogs got along but their current dog isn't socialized...and a bit crazy.

That would be great if you got to bring your dog! I did a lot of research over the past year about dogs at work. I am lucky that I have my own office, we don't have a "customer walk in" environment and also my office is right by the entrance which should make it easier for getting in and out for toilet breaks. Also mine will be the only dog - the other employees are starting to get a bit excited about it now. Hope all goes well for you with meeting the other dog! I worry about what to do in situations when we will eventually meet people with unsocialised/untrained dogs. Sometimes It works out well though! My friend has a highly trained Border Collie and his friend asked him to mind his unruly (but very friendly!) Great Dane for a few days. When he picked up the Great Dane a few days later, my friend had taught his dog two tricks. He said it happened because the bigger dog was emulating his collie. Maybe the same situation could happen for you! :)

Welcome to the forum :biggrin2:
I'm from Ireland too. This is the first time I've met another Irish person on this forum! I look forward to seeing pictures of your baby in the future.
