Hello from Mr. Pip!

Congrats on Mr. Pip, who is super duper cute, and welcome back, glad your health is better. So funny all the new puppies on the forums are blues! We got a blue merle girl Juno last November after losing our beloved Faith in October. Wishing you many fun adventures and lots of laughs with your new fur buddy.

Thanks! I think the merles are quite the fashion these days. Do you know, my least favorite coat color is blue merle, because I don't like the tan coloration in the midst of the grays and blacks. Which is not to say I wouldn't have one, because all Shelties are worthy, no matter what their coat color! The bi-blues are stunning, as are the bi-blacks, which I find super attractive. That said, sable is also wonderful, as is tricolor. Oh shoot, who cares? I like 'em all!

Sorry about your losing Faith. It's so sad we have such a relatively short time to be with our furry friends. I'm sure you've read the Rudyard Kipling poem about giving your heart to a dog to tear. It states the case so well!
