We live near Chicago and have been blessed with opportunities... you name it, you could find it and shelties are so good to train and make you look so smart...
I think we spent fortune on flossies, bully sticks, sizzles, tracheas, lungs, pig snouts, ears, tails etc but it was better than have destroyed house... Che never was fond of rawhide so this one works only if there is some peanut butter smeared inside of the cracks.
Kong with human grade processed spreadable cheese on top of some kibble for stuffing, everything frozen, generally works well for Che. Che is 10 months old and is mostly over big chewing phase.
With my pups I always gave them ice cubes to chew it numbs their gums for a while. You probably have to break them to smaller pieces. They also sell puppy teething rings you can freeze. I always left a ton of things around they could safely chew on and if they started chewing on something they weren't allowed to I would tell them NO and give them something they could and tell them good and praise. Also make sure they only have access to rawhide type chews when you are watching. Hope this helps a little.
