I was frankly shocked that she was able to do it - especially since the bag of chicken was what I had been using the whole class to reward her. I was sure she would think she was entitled to it if it was lying there open on the floor. But she rose to the occasion and ran right past :-)
 
Today is Spirit Joy's 2nd birthday! Happy birthday to the most amazing, intelligent, sweetest little sheltie. You have brought me joy beyond words and I can't believe I am lucky enough to have you in my life. Happy birthday, little one!

Hello, I'm A new premium member. I'm trying to find my way around here. Your little Spirit is beautiful! I have A little sheltie, Abby. She's 6 months old & is about 11 1/2 tall & weighed 7lbs 8 oz 2 weeks ago. (Dad is 17" & 14lbs. Mom is 12" tall & weighs 12 lbs) & she is also A very fast runner. I enjoy your posts about Spirit (love her name) Just wanted to say hi. :)

Your little Abby sounds like she might end up being right about Spirit's size! I seem to remember being about that size at that age.

Can't wait to see pictures and hear all about little Abby's adventures :-)
